Museum of Civilization
The University of Ottawa
extends an invitation to take advantage of their accomodation facilities at
special rates: come early to take part in the Canada Day festivities in the
Capital and on Parliament Hill on July 1st. You can also stay on, after the
Gathering, at the same rate, to further enjoy the Capital area.
We have reserved an
air-conditioned residence of 2-bedroom suites (cots for an additional 2 young
children can be added). Please make the best possible use of this space. There
is also, next door, a traditional residence of single and double rooms. The
University will also make hotel reservations, if preferred.
Go on-line at www.macleodgathering2008.ca to check out the tentative plans for the
Gathering so far. Please pass along a copy to any interested MacLeods who are
not on-line.
The Registration Form for
the Gathering, plus the Accommodation Form from Ottawa U.
will be on our web site in July. Both forms will also be in the Clan Magazine
in the October issue. They can be sent off to the appropriate addresses via
e-mail or regular mail.
