Mary, the fourth and youngest daughter, was married to William Scott merchant, and for some time a magistrate in the city of Aberdeen, to whom she had a daughter called Anne, who was married to William Urquhart of Meldrum, representative of a very ancient and respectful family. The above mentioned Mary Bethune, after William Scott's decease, was married to Doctor James Dun, principal master of the Grammar School of Aberdeen: and to him had two sons, Alexander and John, and a daughter called Mary.
