Archibald Donald, C.M.G., O.B.E., ...was born on 27th March 1864, and
studied Medicine at the University of Aberdeen, at which he graduated
M.D. in 1892. He was Medical Officer in the Uganda Protectorate
(1894-7), and Director of Transport in Uganda (1898-9). He married, as
his first wife, Mary Henderson, daughter of Henry MacDonald of
Viewfield, Portree, without issue, and, as his second wife, Mrs. Bagnall,
without issue.
