!BIOGRAPHY: Rev. Dr. Donald MacKinnon and Alick Morrison, THE MACLEODS--THE GENEALOGY OF A CLAN, Section II, Edinburgh, The Clan MacLeod Society, 1968, p. 36. Was born in Berneray and fostered in the house of Alexander MacRory (MacLeod) on that island. She married Roderick MacNeil 14th of the MacNeils of Barra. She ended her days in the island of Berneray, and gave valuable information on the history of the island in the Grianam Case 1765-1766. Alice and her husband were first cousins and they had issue.
