!BIOGRAPHY: Rev. Dr. Donald MacKinnon and Alick Morrison, THE MACLEODS--THE GENEALOGY OF A CLAN, Section II, Edinburgh, The Clan MacLeod Society, 1968, p. 20. Was born, on 29th February 1896, at Portland, Victoria, and was educated at Scotch College, Claremont, Western Australia. When the First World War broke out, he joined the 10th Light Horse, and served in Palestine, where, for his distinguished service, he was awarded the D.C.M. He returned to Minilya, but afterwards purchased Boree Park, a pastoral property in the south-west of Western Australia, but he later sold it. He died at Perth, Australia on 10th August 1964. He married Maisie Urquhart, with issue.
