Roland Theodore Wroughton MacLeod was born on 4th September 1900 at Goldington Road, Bedford, and entered Sandhurst, in January 1919, as an Indian Army cadet. He retired from teh Indean Army in 1946 as Lieut.-Colonel, and lived in Buckinghamshire. To the the compiler is greatly indebted for much valuable information about his family of Glendale. He married Erica Margaret, second daughter of the late Astell Kaye of Hatfield Peverel, Essex, with issue.
