He commenced preacher, and afterwards was admitted minister of Glenshiel, where he maintained an amiable character, and gave universal satisfaction. He lately resigned, and lives with his son at Alness in Ross. He married Christian eldest daughter of Mr. Donald M'Leod minister of Lochalsh or Lochaish in the county of Ross, and by her had two sons, Angus and John; and two daughters, Margaret and Flora.
