Died before his father between 1551 and 1557, and was married to a daughter of MacDonald of Kintyre [BANNATYNE MANUSCRIPT], with issue. His three sons were mere boys when their grandfather died, and soon afterwards were assassinated by their uncle, Iain Dubh, in the Castle at Dunvegan.
