Fought by the side of his father at Sheriffmuir, and was afterwards implicated in the affairs of the 1745 Rising, and suffered as a consequence. Afterwards he lived at Kinlochmoidart. It does not appear that there was any issue of Penelope's marriage to Dr. John MacDonald.
