Donald (Rev.)... was born in 1735, was educated at King's College,
Aberdeen, where he graduated M.A., on 2nd April 1764, and, after a period
as a missionary at Strontian, Argyllshire, he was ordained minister at
Strath, Skye, in 1779, and remained there until his death in 1831. He
married., on 14th February 1780, Catherine, daughter of Neil MacLean of
Kilpheder [MacKenzie: THE MACLEANS OF BORERAY, pp. 89-91], North
Uist, with issue.
