Roderick... became Minister of Harris and later Minister of Bracadale in Skye in 1762. He is described as "a man eminently zealous in the work of his Master". he succeeded his father a s tacksman of Balmore from 1753-1762 and thereafter he held the tack of Balgown 1762-1812. He married Janet, daughter of Rev. Donald MacQueen of Kilmuir, with issue. Rev. Roderick MacLeod of Bracadale died on the 9th November 1812.
