The Genealogy/Archival project is designed to preserve our rich inheritance by collecting, storing and making available to all the family connections/links of our MacLeod forebearers and their descendants in Canada. It is anticipated some 50,000 names will be recorded in the first five years and they will include all clan septs. Information is collected in accordance with professional standards and original documents are stored in the MacLeod Collection of the Scottish Studies Archives at the University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario. In due course, it is anticipated internet access to the data will be available.
