Membership is available to all persons named MacLeod (no matter the spelling) and to all persons who are related to a MacLeod. This principle applies to all septs of the Clan MacLeod as set out in the list of sept family names.

Members receive two issues of the Canadian Newsletter and two issues of the Clan MacLeod Magazine published on a world-wide basis in Scotland. Clan MacLeod Societies throughout Canada provide opportunities for participation at dinners, ceilidhs, picnics and other Scottish family-related activities.
